The AquaCrate Soakaway System has been created to prevent extreme peak flow to main drainage and water purification systems, which is an increasing environmental problem due mainly to development.
For the installation of traditional impermeable surfaces in front gardens over 5 sqm in size, such as driveways or paving, planning permission must be in place. By instead using permeable paving, asphalt or installing a soakaway system, this avoids the need for planning permission.
Rainwater is ‘cleaned’ by the geotextile surround of AquaCrate, reducing the disruption of flooding during heavy rainfall. Greywater storage can also be performed by AquaCrate.
Manufactured in the UK to ISO 9001 Quality Standards from recycled strong copolymer polypropylene and recyclable at end of use, AquaCrate helps meet sustainability targets as well as prevent flooding.
A strong yet lightweight solution, the AquaCrate Soakaway system is easy to install and has a long product life.
